The Prayer of a Recovering Alcoholic
Now I lay me down to sleep God kept me sober For another period of 24 hours As I went to all my meetings And followed the directions of my sponsor I worked the Steps and had some fun But if my time here on Earth is done Before the next morning sun Please pass the gifts of what I've learned On to another drunk.
