I cant believe that yall replied.

Wow , Today i was just in a long conversation with my grandpa about my drug use. We sat downstairs at my computer room, I told him to hold on. I logged on and to my surprise yall wrote me with hope and wisdom that things can change. I greatfully look forward to another replie I am still struggling but looking everywhere for the answer. Im a little less scared now but it will come back. What do i do when i have the money to get trashed and no control in the next move i make. Thats how i always end up getting trashed cause i never look for hope before i get high i just say oh well i'll be happy when im high.

((((((((((Huggys))))))))) we can only stop one day at a time. You can always hand your money over to someone to hold for you so you don't get high.

Good Morning Losted Teezy, Until I came to AA, I could get sober for a while but then before long I was back drunk again. Each time the time I was sober was less and less until it was what's the point? Then I came to AA and yes for a while I continued to go back out drinking but each time I was sober the time was more and more until I was able to stay sober and clean. AA gave me something I couldn't get on my own, it gave me a way of life. It showed me how to live my life sober and clean. In the beginning when I was new, I had meetings to go to, the fellowship then eventually I got a sponsor who helped me to work through the steps. If you haven't checked into an AA or NA meeting yet then that is what I suggest to do. You will learn what to do when you have money and more - you will learn how to live life sober and clean. Whatever you decide to do, please feel free to continue to come back here and share with us. We care - you are not alone anymore!

Love,
Tammy

Losted Teezy you can recover one day at a time if you want it bad enough. A lot of people need recovery but don't get it. I know you can do it because we're doing it. Above all get to a meeting. That's where you'll learn how to get and stay sober. Even if you didn't have money you'd find a way to get high if you wanted to. When you go to meetings find a sponser someone who can help you stay sober.
