Waking up to life

Even in recovery, it is hard for many of us to avoid old habits that keep us from making the most of our lives. For instance, there is love withheld, people and experiences avoided, dreams ignored. Even avoiding pain diminshed the richness of life.
Now that we have taken back our lives, we can practice living more of it. We can make some changes, accept a few challenges, take some risks. There is so much to be gained.
Am I waking up to life?

Higher Power, help me to develop the course to embrace my life and make the most of it.

Day by Day

The thing that I have come to realize that unless I am willing to wake up to life that it doesn't always happen. We are all given free will and until we choose to turn our will over then and only then can we wake up to a new life even better and more brighter than ever. God meditation for today.

Love JAJ
