Smile good morning , a great day

hello , i want to say when i joined this forum , i started going through rough period and i am thankful that i got some response to it all today i want to share that these accurances that came have shown me much great awareness of my unmanagability, and that it is not just jputting downt the drug, its about powerlessnes over situations taking it and not accepting of what it is this has led me to negative feelings and mistrust in the rehab i go to well i woke today did some first step work and the spirit drove in my anger comes from powerlessness lack of acceptance I have had a awakening today and give thanks today i can say i dont feel defeated,degraded , mustrusting, that i have a motivation to face the backstepping , starting over in the jprogram from the begining , that is going back to the c.c.p. ( checking into a correctional community jprogram everyday sitting in their groups , an alternative to incarceration) give thanks I have this chance, and really taking a look at the promises of the steps a freedom from self bondage that interfere with personnel relationships.. Have a wonderfull day every body and thainkyou for putting up with my whiining and despertness (did i spell that correct) God bless you alll

Hi River, When the light comes on it great to see !! hang in there it gets better the more we put into it. Recovery gets a bad rap...it's actually a great way to live. I use to be in and out of jail all the time before I recovered from my addictions. It's not like thay anymore thanx to a simple program. Keep up the good work.
