Greetings to all !!!

I just decided to myself to register to a site such as this. Perhaps I can offer my moral support to others and vice-versa. We are all not alone, even though sometimes it sure feels that way. I have been an alcoholic all my life, and have found it to be a most frustrating disease to say the very least.
I still fight this battle to this day , which would explain why I've decided to join.
Peace and Love

Thank you Doraine for the welcome. Wow, congratulations on this!! Most impressive indeed.
Looks like I have a lot of reading to do here, but I've got to go for now.
I'll return later on
Peace out

I live in atlanta and although I didn't begin drinking alcoholically, wound up there anyway. I preferred drugs, but that doesn't make me less of an alcoholic. I've found that to be my truth. I never could get clean/sober until I accepted the alcoholism so that is where I focus my recovery. If I can stay away from the booze, it keeps me away from the drugs. Anyway, not to get too wordy in a welcome message. I know you'll come to love it here, as we all have.
In recovery,

Hello pathfinder
I am cassie, grateful recovering alcoholic. Nice to meet you. With the help of the friends on this site, I stay in today and sober, one day at a time. Starting here sets the tone for the entire day. I hope you keep coming back to share and am looking forward to hearing more from you.
