Wink Magic Mommy Kisses

Magic Mommy Kisses
Each night I tuck you into bed
I brush my hand across your head
and in each tiny little fist
I place a magic mommy kiss.

Full of love and hope so bright
To keep you safely through the night,
Mommy kisses in your hand
To guide you off to slumberland.

If you should dream of monsters mean
Or witches with faces masked in green,
Of snakes that squeeze you oh-so-tight
Or darkness with no sign of light.

When nightmares hold you stiff with fear
A part of mommy still is near.
Just open up your hand and blow
One mommy kiss and nightmares go

I wish i had been around my baby when she was young to do this for her. The world says she is my step-daughter.But i say she is my daughter, we have that kind of a relationship. I did not know her before the age of eight and i only got to see her every other weekend for years. I missed the times to be able to do this for her. She is 30 now with a family of her own. Right now i wish i could give her Mommy kisses. She has lost her mother and grandmother too soon. And all i want to do is give her Mommy kisses. I feel so powerless at this time so i am doing a lot of praying for her.

It was meant for me to read this tonight.
