Letting Memories In -From Beginning to Heal

Letting Memories In -From Beginning to Heal

Some survivors go through a time in which they are flooded with memories from the past. If this is happening to you, don't try to push the memories away. If you do, you may end up exhausted, or plagued by headaches, panic attacks, or nightmares. Usually it's best to just let the memories come through.

Find a place where you'll be safe.

-Call a support person if you want to be with someone
or you might prefer being alone.
