Lightbulb He provides in so many ways we can take for granted

The other day I was on my way to the city and was munching away quite happily on a chicken and salad roll....since finding my way back to Our Lord I always offer my thankyous for the food I am so blessed to be provided with, I have taken great efforts to eat much slower and really enjoy every mouthful; the salad in my roll was very fresh and crisp; grated carrot was what brought about the following to me and I wrote it down a couple of days ago, thought I'd share with you all;

Some of "What God's garden can teach and remind us";

Mossies (Mosquitoes):
Why on earth would you place something that can irritate the body so much upon this earth Father? - granted, they are great food for many critters, but why make them so annoying?
VIGILANCE; when we have mossies we a re reminded to be vigilant in protecting ourselves when in their environment; they can be harmful. The mossie serves as a great reminder to be vigilant in other environments that can be harmful, i.e areas of drug and or alcohol use.

Flowers:
They die off to produce seed to enable sprouting all over again. Why not simply have continuous flowers Father? - I feel it is because we would thent ake these beautiful creations for granted. Each season as we watch seedlings sprout and begin, the growth of the plant, the buds begin to form and finally blossum; to the eyes' delight and often, the nostrils' feast of smells. When we take things and people for granted we can miss the growth process, change and blossoming before our very eyes. As the seasons come and go we can be reminded to be aware of change and growth in others and celebrate their personal beauty as they grow; we can also be reminded to celebrate ourselves and our growth and change.

Fruit and Veg:
Pluck a plum from the tree; the colour invites us to do so; as does a peach, cherry. The first bite we take, the juice flows, the flavour is delightful to the tounge, the goodness those fruits provide. A freshly grown tomato on the vine, a grape - so much variety of colour to tempt us and the wholesome flavours to entice us to eat some more. A carrot newly uprooted, a lettuce cut from the stem, cucumber pucked from the vine; a huge reminder of how much Our Father truly loves us, wants to please us and have us enjoy the fruits of life.

Think, for a little bit; so much variety of colour, shape, flavour, goodness. When we are reminded of God's handiwork here in providing these foods for us, for other creatures on this wonderful earth, consider the care and love with which God offers these gifts. He could have provided us with bland, non-enticing foods to satisfy our basic need for survival, but no, He wants to please, to delight all creatures on earth, with an enormous variety of natural delicacies.

How much Our Father loves us becomes very obvious when we look into "His garden".....as for the mossies, well as annoying as they may be, they too serve as a caring reminder for our day to day journey.

My thoughts...
God Bless and enjoy the garden and fruits available to you.

If I get to adding more to my paper page on this I will share it as it comes. btw; the mossies section did not come to me as I was eating LOL.... it came to me later as I was re-thinking of the grated carrot, which was whilst sitting here in the study, staring out the window and there was a "mossie" o/side and the garden is in my view also.....so the story continued!!!

God will always remain a mystery, as long as I believe in coincidence.
