From Darkness to Light

“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light� (Ephesians 5:8).
When Tina was a teenager, she was told she had “special powers.� Sometimes Tina wished for events to happen and they happened.
She thought her ability came from God, but Tina started to be afraid. These “powers� began taking over her thoughts. Dark figures lingered at the edges of her mind.
Tina wondered… Was her gift from God, or somewhere else?
Tina needed help. Her friend Abby studied the Bible and knew about spiritual matters. She always seemed to have the right answers.
So when they talked, Abby told Tina what God said about strange powers. That very night Tina prayed and asked Jesus into her heart. She was not afraid anymore.
Friend, we are called to lead others from darkness to light. Introduce someone near you to Jesus Christ and the truth of God’s Word.
