Weekly Recovery Meeting 1/6/07 - 1/13/07

Hi Family

Snug asked me to share this week's topic. I am a little late, in all honesty I forgot until this morning. My apologies. I see that Snug has already started a brilliant topic on "when have you felt closest to God." I will be happy to do next week Snug. THANKS AGAIN.

One would think that the times I have felt closest to God, were the good times. But that is not actually so. In times of turmoil, as I pleaded for him to be merciful unto me. And the only reason I was not close to him is because he seemingly was not there. Have been the times that have actually drawn me closer to God, as I patiently waited to see that in retrospect, with no other choice.
