Take Your Time
Take Your Time
Eating is an important part of your day. Please take your time, and give it some recognition and value. Always make sure to eat slowly. Never rush through a meal. Do not eat while standing up. Try not to do anything else while you're feeding yourself. Chew each bite thoroughly, and savor every flavor, texture and sensation. Slowly feel the energy and sustenance that is coming into your body. Eating is a sacred moment, and deserves your full, mindful attention and care. Take your time. If you don’t have enough time, make some. If you must wait to eat until you have the time, this will be a very good exercise in self-discipline. Norris J. Chumley |
